Facilities
The Lerner School is located on a beautiful 8 acre wooded campus off Cornwallis Road in Durham North Carolina. The school was designed to enhance learning with bright airy classrooms that open onto gardens and play areas. Our facility includes an outdoor amphitheater and a warm indoor gathering space for plays, presentations and story telling, and a large multipurpose room for school wide gatherings.

What an Exciting Time for Our School
As part of our long-range strategic plan the school is expanding its facilities to accommodate growth. The Lerner School is partnering with the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation and its subsidiary agencies to build a new facility on the Cornwallis Road site – The Partnership for a Jewish Center. This new facility will house the offices of our community's primary social service and philanthropic agencies, provide athletic facilities and classrooms for the school and the community at large, and serve everyone from infants to seniors through recreational, social and cultural programs.
