Facilities

The Lerner School is set in a beautiful, wooded campus in Durham near Duke Forest. Our main building, with its spacious Preschool Pavilion, has an open, sunny feel while maintaining an intimate, cozy environment that allows our students to feel at home.

Creativity, activity, and new outdoor experiences are in store for Lerner students at our new state-of-the-art Music and Art rooms at the neighboring JCC. Lerner's new running track, playing fields, and the J's full-sized gymnasium allow our P.E. program to offer a full range of activities. Our new playground includes a large climbing net and Super Rope-end Swinger as well as custom designed features integrated into the natural landscape for exploring and exercising the body and the imagination.
