Early Childhood
Summer Camp!

Our summer program offers two separate classrooms, based on age, designed to engage children in developmentally appropriate themes and activities. We offer the same time options as during the school year, AND the flexibility to choose the weeks you want. Our weekly themes are interspersed with all of the typical summer camp fun:

We hope you'll join us for this engaging camp experience! For more information contact the school office or admissions@lernerschool.org

See below for Weekly Themes:

June 14-18: Crazy for Cooking! Hey kids, get your aprons on and join us for a week of food preparation! We’ll set up a café with menus, take turns serving and of course we will “cook” every day. From entrees to treats, we'll measure, mix and bake!

June 21-25: Fractured Fairy Tales! Let your child explore their dramatic side. This is fairy tales with a funny twist as we mix and match stories, make costumes and perform our own play!

June 28-July 2: Road to Independence! Get messy with red, white and blue! We’ll “travel” to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, create a classic July 4th picnic, and learn all sorts of American folk songs!

July 5-9: Camping: S'mores and More! What's it like to camp in the great outdoors? We'll sit around the campfire, eat s'mores, sing songs and tell stories. We'll set up our tent, take hikes and explore nature, go fishing, learn about constellations, and lie down under the stars!

July 12-16: Water, Here, There and Everywhere! Let your child discover the science of water.  We’ll experiment with color mixing, create water flow mazes, and learn about floating and sinking objects. We’ll enjoy getting wet while we explore the properties of water!

July 19-23: Icky, Sticky, Gooey! Attention young scientists, put your lab coat on as we mix and measure unusual concoctions, both inside and outside. It's science time in the EC Pavilion as we conduct all sorts of experiments!

July 26-30: Art Exploration! From collage, still life, clay and paper mache, your children will put their artistic side forward and explore all types of medium.  The week will culminate in an exhibit of our fabulous works!

August 2-6: Rock-Out the Summer with Music! Let's create our own rock band. We'll write songs, make instruments and perform our own concert.  There will be lots of music and dancing all week long as we learn about different types of music and experiment with a variety of instruments!
